Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm is a high quality small alpaca farm located in the northwest corner of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Our farm is nestled on 145 acres, bordered by The Betsie River and near Lake Michigan with panoramic views of Crystal Lake. Our town, Frankfort, is a port city on Lake Michigan. As alpaca farmers, it is our goal is to raise healthy happy alpacas with the most elite, fine and dense fleece possible. We also pride ourselves in providing our clients with excellent personal care, mentoring, veterinary support and services such as sales, breeding and boarding.. In 1991 our family built The Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic in Honor, MI where David is a veterinarian. Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm is a full service veterinary alpaca farm. We provide our clients and friends with vital and up to date veterinary medical information and consultation. We established our alpaca farm in 2001 and pride ourselves in being caring, compassionate and knowledgeable alpaca breeders who strive to raise champions in a good environment.

Our alpaca bloodlines are extremely impressive and we are proud to be the home to Futurity and AOBA National Champions and many other award winning Color Champion herdsires and females. In 2010 our Crystal Spartan won the 2010 Brown Male Futurity Color Champion and our Crystal Sangria was named the 2010 Brown AOBA National Champion. This year, our Crystal Kalin became the 2011 Fawn Male Futurity Reserve Color Champion (as a juvenile). We hope to continue our breeding excellence and we are pleased to announce that Crystal Spartan's first crias arrived this spring and they are stunning.
