About the Farm
The Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm is a high quality small alpaca farm located in the northwest corner of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan.
Our goal is to raise healthy, happy alpacas with the most elite fleece possible. We provide our clients with excellent personal care, mentoring, veterinary support and services such as sales and breeding.
A full-service veterinary alpaca farm, we provide our clients with vital and up-to-date veterinary medical information and consultation. We established our alpaca farm in 2001 and pride ourselves in being caring, compassionate and knowledgeable alpaca breeders who strive to raise champions in a good environment.
Our alpaca bloodlines are extremely impressive and we are proud to be the home to Futurity Champion, National Champion and many other color champion and award winning alpacas. In 2010, our Crystal Spartan won the Brown Male Futurity Color Champion and our Crystal Sangria was named the Brown AOBA National Champion. In 2011, our Crystal Kalin became the Fawn Male Futurity Reserve Color Champion (as a juvenile). In 2021, our ELK Jacob was named Herdsire of the Year in the United States.
