About the Boutique

 

The Crystal Lake Alpaca Boutique was established on the Nelson Family Farm in the Spring of 2012. In 2021 we expanded to a second retail location located at The Village in the Grand Traverse Commons. 

 

The boutique carries a variety of alpaca products including hats, mittens, scarves, neck warmers, the famous alpaca socks, sweaters, stuffed animals and much more! Our products are wonderful gifts for your friends, loved ones or even to spoil yourself! The luxurious fleece of alpacas is warmer than wool, softer than cashmere and it doesn't itch. You can't be allergic to 100% alpaca either!

Note: Since 99% of the alpacas in the world reside in South America, many of our items are imported (much through fair-trade) from people in Peru, Chile and Bolivia. Unfortunately, there are currently not enough alpacas in the United States to fulfill the demand of these rare garments. Our items are not mass produced, so therefore the products listed on our website may not be immediately available. If the product you order is not available, we will contact you directly to resolve the issue. Thank you for understanding!
